Matthew Savoca (born June 16, 1982) is an American novelist, poet, and short story writer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is the author of the poem long love poem with descriptive title, the collection of poems Morocco, and the novel I Don't Know I Said, which The Philadelphia Review of Books said "reads like a 21st century Hemingway."

His new book of stories Why I Hate Nature, which will be published in 2014 by Holler Presents, is said to be an autobiographical account of his regular every day stories from life up until age 30.

Savoca currently lives in both New York and Pennsylvania where he works as a carpenter by trade.
