Matthew Glasser (born June 11, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the Denver Cutthroats of the Central Hockey League (CHL).

Playing career

Glasser was selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the 7th round, 220th overall, of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He was chosen from the Fort McMurray Oil Barons of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Glasser committed to a four-year collegiate career with the Denver Pioneers of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. In his junior and senior years, Glasser was selected in consecutive WCHA All-Academic teams.

Unsigned from the Oilers, Glasser remained in Denver to sign his first professional contract with the Colorado Eagles of the CHL on September 8, 2010. During the 2010–11 season with the Eagles, Glasser scored 6 goals and 21 points in 60 games.

A free agent. Glasser signed his first European contract in the Netherlands with Geleen Smoke Eaters of the North Sea Cup, the highest level of professional competition organized by the Netherlands Ice Hockey Association.

After averaging more than a point per game in the Dutch league, Glasser opted to sign in the Asian League with China Dragon for the 2012–13 season.

On July 10, 2013, Glasser returned to the state of Colorado and signed a one-year contract with the Denver Cutthroats of the CHL.
