Matt Long (baseball) Wikipedia
Matthew Eugene Long (born April 30, 1987) is a professional baseball Outfielder who is a free agent. He played at St. Francis High School and Santa Clara University and was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 30th round of the 2009 MLB Draft.
Long began his career with the Arizona League Angels in 2009 and then played with the Cedar Rapids Kernels in 2010 and the Inland Empire 66ers in 2011. He was promoted to the AA Arkansas Travelers in 2012 and then to the AAA Salt Lake Bees later that season. On December 18, 2014, the Angels traded him to the Los Angeles Dodgers as the player to be named later in an early trade that sent backup catcher Drew Butera to the Angels. He was then traded the same day to the Milwaukee Brewers (along with Jarret Martin) for catcher Shawn Zarraga.
