Materials and Design

Materials & Design is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published ten times per year by Elsevier. The focus is researching practical applications of engineering materials including materials processing. Article formats are full papers, short communications, and technical reports. The editor-in-chief is Alexander Korsunsky (University of Oxford). The journal was established in 1978 as the International Journal of Materials in Engineering Applications and obtained its current title in 1980.
