The Mater Dolorosa Church or just Mater Dolorosa Parish, is the name given to a temple of the Catholic Church located in the city of Mbabane, the capital of the African country of Swaziland. This just to one side of the same name Secondary and Elementary School. (The Mater Dolorosa primary school and high school).
It began as the mission of Mater Dolorosa established in January 1914.
Unlike most African countries the main temple of the church is not located in the capital, but in another city (Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption of Manzini). Mater Dolorosa The name refers to one of the Latin form of call to the invocation of Our Lady of Sorrows.
On January 27, 2014 celebrations were held in this temple 100 years of the Catholic Church in that nation. During a religious ceremony the finance minister he collapsed in place so it had to be treated.
