The first season of Pakistani reality television series MasterChef Pakistan began on 3 May 2014 and aired on Urdu 1. Show airs two episodes weekly one on Saturday and other on Sunday at 21:00 PST prime-time slot. First season is presented by Knorr and co-sponsorship rights are owned by Ariel while Shan Food Industries and 7 Up serve as a food providers.
The first season of MasterChef Pakistan won by Ammara Noman who defeated Gulnaz and Madiha in series Finale on 27 July 2014. Ammara received series title, PKR 5 million (US $ 50,000) and a contract of her own recipe book, while Gulnaz stood as a Runner-up and received Rs. 1 million with series trophy and Madiha came up as 2nd runner-up and received Rs. 500,000 and series trophy.
Regional Auditions

Auditions for first series occurs only in three metropolises the capitol Islamabad, the Heart Lahore and the industrial hub Karachi, people shows the extravagant enthusiasm for audition, in Lahore auditions days were extended due to great reception similar in Karachi, auditions were extended for two more days.
Audition Structure
MasterChef Pakistan (season 1) almost follow the same format as of MasterChef series, similar to Australia and India. Season contains three rounds, the first round being the open call audition advertised. Desired auditionees register themselves via form filling given at the series website, and then called for audition at venue, for audition registered one have to bring their Cold dishes who gain two yeses from the judges then gain Red Apron for next round. In the Second Round all the selected auditionees have to face Live cooking Round, where in one hour they have to present their dish to judges, half of those who attended are eliminated at this stage with only rest of half with White Apron auditioners selected to proceed further. In final and third round half of selected have to face Boot Camp Challenge where their cutting skills and speed are judged, here further selection occurs with only 16 or 17 participants moving to season original game till finale.
In first season unlike India & Australia MasterChef didn't aired audition episodes, but directly airs with selected initial contestants. First Season follows the Live Cooking Challenge round and Boot Camp Challenge in first round selected auditionees from auditions have to face the Live cooking challenge which will cut the contestants half in number, and then Boot camp challenge which will narrow down the final contestants with 16 going to finals till finale.

Live Cooking Challenge
After the Regional auditions occur in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, Judges selected 100 contestants came from all over the Pakistan to venues. All 100 contestants faces Live Cooking Challenge, where they were given one hour to present their dish to judges. From among these contestants, the pool of contestants was narrowed down to 50 by giving White Apron to each, for next round called Boot Camp.
Boot Camp Challenge
Second phase of challenge in the series is called Boot Camp challenge where selected 50 contestants cutting and techniques of cooking were judged by giving them different chores of Kitchen. Here further selection occurs and Top 50 narrowed down to final Top 16, after facing two or three further rounds of selection. Boot Camp may comprises two or three phases of rounds in order to select the last final contestants who will fight for series title.
Opening Week
The opening week of MasterChef Pakistan saw 100 contestants competing for the 16 positions in the main competition. After facing Live Cooking Challenge Top 50 were revealed in second episode, aftermath facing Boot camp challenges Top 30 shown in episode 3 and finally after facing last Boot camp challenge Top 16 were revealed which will competes in the main competition.
Top 16
The full Top 16 were revealed on Sunday, 11 May. After facing all the challenges from Top 100 to Top 50 and from Top 30 to final Top 16.
