The Mascot Grand National is an annual race between mascots of various other sports teams as well as corporate mascots. It has been contested since 1999 and since 2012 has been held at Kempton Park Racecourse. Previously it was held at Huntingdon racecourse. Up to 100 mascots in full-body costumes take part. The short race is along the final furlong of the course, with low hurdles (approximately 40cm high). The mascots' entry fees are donated to charity.

In 2010, many mascots, especially those from professional football clubs, boycotted the race over the way it was organised and the fact that mascots from any field could enter even if they were not 'day in-day out' performers.
