Mascalucia (Sicilian: Mascalucìa) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 160 kilometres (99 mi) southeast of Palermo and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Catania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 26,068 and an area of 16.2 square kilometres (6.3 sq mi).
