Masatoshi Ishida

Masatoshi Ishida (石田 真敏, Ishida Masatoshi, born April 11, 1952) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Kainan, Wakayama and graduate of Waseda University, he was elected to the first of his three terms in the assembly of Wakayama Prefecture in 1983 and then to the first of his two terms as mayor of Kainan in 1994. He was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 2002.
