Mary Johnstone Lynn (1891-unknown) was an Irish botanist known for her ecological studies in Northern Ireland. She studied plant ecology of tidal zones throughout her career. Lynn was born in Carrickfergus and attended Queens University, Belfast for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, earning a bachelor's degree in 1914 and a doctorate in 1937. She was a professor at her alma mater throughout her career.
