Mary Uphoff

Mary Jo Uphoff (1911; North Dakota – 11 January 2012) ) was a former political candidate in Wisconsin. In 1947, she was candidate for the United States House of Representatives from Wisconsin's 2nd congressional district in the special election following the death of Robert Kirkland Henry. She lost to Glenn Robert Davis. She was candidate for the same seat again the following year. Again, she lost to Davis. Uphoff was a member of the Socialist Party of America.
