Markus Jürgenson (born 9 September 1987) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Finnish Veikkausliiga club Vaasan Palloseura and the Estonia national team.

Tammeka

Jürgenson started playing football in his hometown Tartu with the Tammeka youth team's. He made his Meistriliiga debut for the first team on 16 March 2005, in a 2–2 derby home draw against Merkuur.
TVMK
In 2007, Jürgenson signed for TVMK.
Flora

On 16 November 2008, it was announced Jürgenson will join Flora for the next season. He won his first Meistriliiga title in the 2010 season. He won two more league titles in the 2011 and the 2015 seasons. On 8 November 2016, Flora announced Jürgenson's contract won't be extended for the next season. During his eight seasons with the club, Jürgenson had become a fans' favourite, having won three Meistriliiga titles, four Estonian Cups and five Estonian Supercups, amassing a total of 306 appearances and scoring 56 goals, including 252 appearances and 37 goals in the Meistriliiga.
VPS
On 10 February 2017, Jürgenson joined Finnish Veikkausliiga club VPS on a one-year contract, with option of another.
International career

Jürgenson started his international youth career in 2006 with the under-21 team. In December 2010, he was called up by manager Tarmo Rüütli to the Estonia national team facing China and Qatar. He made his international debut for Estonia on 18 December 2010, playing the full 90 minutes in a 0–3 friendly away defeat against China.
