Mark Waters is a Canadian politician from Alberta, Canada.

He was head of the lobby group Albertans For Responsible Government. The group was formed to pressure the Alberta government into bringing in democratic reforms such as citizens based initiatives.

Waters was leader of the provincial political party Alberta Political Alliance, a minor right wing alternative party. He led the party into 1993 Alberta general election fielding a slate of four candidates and taking 3,548 votes and 0.36% of the total popular vote with 7th place standing among the political parties. Waters ran in the electoral district Calgary Currie taking 1200 votes and finishing a strong fourth place to Jocelyn Burgener of the Progressive Conservatives.

His father was former elected Canadian Senator Stanley Waters.
