Marjorie Child Husted (April 2, 1892 – December 23, 1986) was an American home economist who helped develop the brand character Betty Crocker.
Born in Minneapolis, she was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and an initiated member of Kappa Alpha Theta.
In 1924, the daytime radio broadcast Betty Crocker Cooking School of the Air debuted. For two decades, Crocker was voiced and scripted by Agnes White. This program ran through 1953.
