Mariano Olier (1752-1816) was an Argentine Catholic priest of the Cathedral of Buenos Aires. He had an outstanding performance in the fight against smallpox epidemic of 1778.

Mariano was born in Buenos Aires, the son of Matheo Olier and Nicolaza Garcia de la Huerta. His grandfather Sebastian de Olier, had a title of nobility granted by the King of Spain.
