Maria C Tamargo

Maria C. Tamargo is a leading Cuban-American scientist in compound semiconductors and materials science.

Tamargo is professor of chemistry at The City College of New York. She received her education at the University of Puerto Rico and Johns Hopkins University. She is also the author of over 300 papers in the field of semiconductor research and is the holder of several patents in her field.
