Marcus Engman is a Swedish designer who is the head of design for IKEA. In 1983, during his highschool years Engman worked at IKEA and would later go onto apprentice with interior designer Mary Ekmark who also worked for IKEA. He has also been communications & interior design manager, global range strategist, and marketing manager for IKEA. After 12 year of being with IKEA he then quit to go found his own retail agency and then came back to IKEA in 2012.
