Manuel Mateus Ventura

Manuel Mateus Ventura (born in Fortaleza, Ceará) is a Brazilian biophysicist. He is professor emeritus at University of Brasília. His research activity has been focused on physicochemical aspects and structure of proteins. Ventura is member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Brazilian Order of Scientific Merit (Great Cross), and recipient of the Anisio Teixeira Prize from the Ministry of Education and Sports.
