Manihala Jai Singh is a well known village in Punjab. It got its name 'Manihala Jai Singh' from Sardar Jai Singh who belonged to this village and was a well known general of the army of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The remains of his fort are found in this village which was popularly known as 'ATTARI' in the village.
