Mangle is a comic book villain that appeared in the Malibu Comics Ultraverse book The Night Man.
Fictional character biography
Jeremiah Stürm an awkward and scholarly history teacher, who took a job tutoring Guy Hunt, the young son of J.D. Hunt, owner of Nu-Ware, one of the cutting edge biological enhancement companies. Guy Hunt, however, did not want a tutor, but someone to torture, and since his father's technology could repair any damage he might inflict, Guy had the ultimate playtoy. In the end, Stürm's mind cracked and even J.D. Hunt's technology could not fix him. Held together with biological implants and an exoskeleton, now calling himself Mangle, Stürm sought to revenge himself on Guy Hunt or whatever child found themselves in his path.
