Mandeep R. Mehra (born December 3, 1964 in Delhi) is a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and Medical Director of the Brigham Heart and Vascular Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He specializes in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation. He has served as President of the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation and is also President of the Heart Failure Society of America. He has published more than 400 manuscripts, abstracts, and book chapters in areas of immunosuppression, genomic medicine, cardiac transplant rejection, guidelines for listing patients for a heart transplant, and in mechanical circulatory support. Additionally, Mehra is the current Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation.
