Mamariga is the northern terminus of the Mamariga Shuttle, an extension of the Line 2 of Metro Bilbao. It is located in the neighborhood of Mamariga, in the municipality of Santurtzi, in the Greater Bilbao area. The station before is Santurtzi. It was opened on September 3, 2010 along with the shuttle. It is an underground station. It is free for users in transit to Metro Bilbao or who come from a station other than Santurtzi. Passengers only travelling from Mamariga to Santurtzi need to pay a fare.
