Malaysia–Uruguay relations

Malaysia–Uruguay relations are foreign relations between Malaysia and Uruguay. Uruguay has an embassy in Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia has an embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the ambassador being concurrent to Uruguay.

Both countries have subscribed a bilateral trade agreement. Trade between both countries is being actively promoted. Uruguay buys caoutchouc and sells commodities, especially maize. In 2007, the Malaysian Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry Ng Lip Yong visited Uruguay.

Both countries are full members of the Cairns Group and of the Group of 77.
