Making History is a grand strategy video game franchise created by the development studio Muzzy Lane.

Game series

The series consists of:

  • Making History: The Calm & The Storm (MH1), a 2007 World War II grand strategy computer game.
  • Making History II: The War of the World (MHII), a 2010 World War II grand strategy computer game.
  • Making History: The Great War (MH:TGW), a 2015 World War I grand strategy computer game, in the style of the first two games, but while MH1 and MH2 focus on World War II, The Great War is set in World War I. The game, announced on 29 March 2012, was available on Steam via its Early Access program beginning on 4 April 2014. The game was released on Jan 29, 2015.

    • In 2016, the Making History franchise was sold to Factus Games.
