Maine's Got Talent is a talent show competition put on by the Miss Maine Scholarship Program, based on the American reality TV show America's Got Talent. Maine's Got Talent was started in the Spring of 2009 as a fundraiser for the Miss Maine America pageant. Performers from all over Maine are asked to fill out an audition form, and send it in with a two-minute recording of them performing their talent. Those auditioning can sing, act, dance, or any other perform any other talent. The Miss Maine Organization chooses the top performers to compete for a cash prize, a trophy, and performance opportunities including the spotlight at the Miss Maine America pageant and an audition with the talent agency Dolphin Entertainment.

2009 Competition

The first year of Maine's Got Talent was held in Freeport, Maine. This year's contestants were found from the culmination of six preliminary competitions, held around the state. Of the five finalists chosen, the winner was Miss Maine's Outstanding Teen title holder Kristin Korda, 17, of Saco, Maine.

2010 Competition

The second year of Maine's Got Talent was also held in Freeport, Maine. During the Miss Maine's Springtime Gala event. This year had 10 finalists compete. This year's competition was won by Chris Camire, 17, of Auburn, Maine. He won by performing Frank Sinatra's Almost Like Being in Love.

2011 Competition

The third year of Maine's Got Talent was also held in Freeport, Maine. During the Miss Maine's Springtime Gala event. This year had ten finalists compete. This year's winner was Hannah Rowell of South Portland. She won by performing Faith Hill's Stronger.

2012 Competition

The fourth year of Maine's Got Talent was held at the Morgan Hill Event Center in Hermon, Maine as its own standalone event and fundraiser. Of the 16 finalists brought to Hermon, the winner was Max Ater of Bath, Maine. His winning performance was an original piece titled Back to Romance.
