Mahmudabad Rural District (Persian: دهستان محمودآباد) is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Shahin Dezh County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,899, in 1,741 families. The rural district has 25 villages.
