The Magtymguly International Prize is an award given by Turkmenistan to those who help achieve the aim of Magtymguly, an 18th-century poet: the establishment of an independent Turkmenistan.

Winners include Turkmenistan president-for-life Saparmurat Niyazov, who received the award in 2003 for his books "Blessed Be the Turkmen Peopleā€ and "Five Epochs of the Spirituality of the Turkmen People."
