Sam has over 30 years experience in Marketing (Sarabhai's & Cadbury's) and Advertising (Contract, Mudra & Madison). He started Madison in 1988.
He is actively involved in various industry committees to further the cause of advertising and media in the country. He is currently the Chairman of Audit Bureau of Circulation.
He has been ranked as the Most Influential Person in Media over the last 5 consecutive years and the 4th Most Influential Person in Advertising in 2010 by the Brand Equity Ad Agency Reckoner.
He is the recipient of the AAAI Lifetime Achievement Award and Kolkata Ad Club's Hall of Fame Award. He has been nominated as a Media Jury member at International Advertising Festival, Cannes in 2005 and is also a speaker at several National & International Conferences.
