Madhukar Shamsher Jung Bahadur Rana (Nepali: मधुकर सम्शेर राणा) (born 1941) is a development economist from Nepal. He has amongst several other positions most notably served as the Finance Minister of Nepal and is currently Professor of economics at the South Asian Institute of Management, Nepal. His contributions to economic policy reaches throughout South and South East Asia. He is a member of the Rana dynasty of Nepal.
