Madhuca vulpina is a tree in the Sapotaceae family. It grows up to 30 metres (98 ft) tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 45 centimetres (18 in). The bark is brown. Inflorescences bear up to three flowers. The specific epithet vulpina is from the Latin meaning "fox-like", referring to the colour of the indumentum. Habitat is forests from sea-level to 100 metres (330 ft) altitude. M. vulpina is found in Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak.
