S.Madhu Bangarappa is the JD (S) MLA elected from the Sorab constituency He is the main influence in the Bangarappa sons family rift, he along with his sisters has made various plans and tactics for the separation between his blood brother Kumar Bangarappa. He was also responsible in the 2014 parliamentary election of the Shimogga district from the JD(S) party. He announced his sister Geetha shivrajkumar as candidate despite of knowing that Rajkumar Family was against it.
