Madeline Emily Green (1884–1947) was a British artist, a student of the RA Schools, working in London from 1912 until her death in 1947. A self-portrait, titled The Chenille Net was exhibited at the RA and at the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts in 1938 and was awarded a gold medal at the Paris Salon in 1947.

She was born in Paddington, London in December 1884. Her parents, Frederick and Emily Green, had a son and four daughters.

A painting titled The Velvet Jacket sold in 1986 for £7000 and again at Bonhams in January 2015 for £24,375.

Green’s work is on display at Dulwich Picture Gallery and Manchester Art Gallery.
