The Madagascan starling (Hartlaubius auratus) is a species of starling in the family Sturnidae. It is endemic to Madagascar.
Commonly included as part of the genus Hartlaubius, the Madagascan starling is alternatively described as Saroglossa aurata. (As Saroglossa contains two species, this alternative classification makes the spot-winged starling monotypic as well.)
