MacKillop College is a day and boarding secondary school for girls located in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. The current school principal is Mrs. Maureen Moore. The College currently has approximately 600 students.

History

The College was established in 1967 by Bishop Thomas to meet the educational needs of girls in the Bathurst Diocese. It was staffed by the Sisters of Mercy and the Sisters of St Joseph under the patronage of Our Lady Help of Christians. In 1995, the name was changed from Diocesan Catholic Girls High School to MacKillop College in honour of Saint Mary MacKillop.

On 9 August 2007 it was announced that the College's boarding house at St Josephs College, Perthville would be closing by the end of 2008 however it was later announced on 4 June 2008 that MacKillop College and the Catholic Education Office would jointly acquire SJC, making MacKillop College a day and boarding College. It is the only Catholic girls boarding school in rural NSW.

MacKillop College is currently undergoing an extensive building and refurbishment program. This includes a new Library Resource Centre, Administration Centre and several classrooms that has now completed building and a new Hospitality Trade Centre currently undergoing construction (2010–2011) which will help meet the growing demand for student places that the school has experienced.
