MV Taishan is a Wallenius Wilhelmsen ro-ro vessel built in 1986. The vessel is owned by Actinor Shipholdings Norway and given on a long term Bareboat charter to Wilhelmsen Lines for EUKOR service

As has been the trend in Wilhelmsen lines, there were also earlier vessels named Taishan, however these were not roro vessels.

IMO number = 8513560 Built = 1986 Length = 195.05 metres, Beam= 32.26 metres (Panamax), Draft = 8.9 metres Call sign= LAZP4, Registry = Oslo - Norway Type = PCTC (Pure car and truck carrier) Capacity = 5930 cars, Stern ramp capacity = 100 MT

The vessel has 13 car decks, of which 4 are hoistable (most are hoisted using a deck lifter, some are hoisted using wires). The vessel also has 2 center ramps on the port and starboard side, but these are rarely used.

The vessel was named after Mount Taishan - a brick from this mountain is kept in a glass case of the vessel's officers smoke room.
