The Aorangi was a passenger vessel built by Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Govan for the Union Steamship Company of New Zealand and launched in 1924.

Career

Launched in 1924 for the Vancouver - Australia passenger route. Aorangai was fitted out as a troopship in 1941 and chartered until 1948, when she was returned to her owners.

Fate

She was broken up in 1953.
