The M1894 210mm Belgian mortar is based upon a 100mm caliber mortar created in 1890 as a siege weapon. 150mm and 240mm versions also existed.
Ammunition
At first the mortar fired 21 cm grenades filled with gunpowder, then after 1885 it used the ten times as powerful explosive shells.
