Mândra Solar Park is a large thin-film photovoltaic (PV) power system, currently under construction on a 84 hectares (210 acres) plot of land near the Mândra commune, Braşov County in Romania. The solar park will be a 38-megawatt solar power system using 160,000 state-of-the-art thin film solar pannels, and should be finished by the end of 2014. The solar park is expected to supply 50 GWh of electricity per year.
The investment cost for the Mândra solar park amounts to some €50 million.
