Luvin the Black Country is a short documentary that travels down the Black Country canals speaking to five different people who pass along the way about the first time they fell in love. The film is a lyrical love letter to the Black Country, its people and their fading identity.
The documentary was produced by the film making collective Black Country Cinema and is part of a series of films about the Black Country region of the UK.
One of the last films to be financed by the UK Film Council before the British Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt announced its abolishment in 2010.
