Ludwigia murchisonae is an extinct species of ammonites in the family Graphoceratidae, which lived during the Mid Jurassic, Aalenian age (170.3–174.1 mya). The shell of this species has an elaborate ribbing and a strong ridge along the dorsal surface.
Distribution
Fossils of Ludwigia murchisonae are found in the Jurassic marine strata of France, Germany, Hungary, Spain and the United Kingdom.
