Ludwig Eka Sugiri is a classical pianist and music librarian. He became an Australian Resident in 2004.

Sugiri was born from and grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. He is of Chinese descent.

He began piano lessons at the age of five, studied music theory and received aural training and intermediate piano lessons from Yayasan Pendidikan Musik Manggarai.

He taught music at Yamaha Music School Jakarta (1993-2000), graduated from Trisakti University and earned a bachelor's degree in Visual Communication. He entered the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2001, where he was a student of Gerard Willems and Paul Rickard-Ford. After the completion of his Bachelor of Music Studies in 2004, Sugiri resides in Sydney.

He completed the postgraduate study in Information Management at University of Technology, Sydney in 2006 and become a qualified librarian.

He has been the Orchestral Librarian and currently his roles are Liaison Librarian for Early Music Unit & Piano Unit, Music Cataloguer, and Rare Music Librarian.

After several insignificant solo concerts in Sydney (2003-2004), Sugiri found his passion in orchestral and ensemble music. Sugiri continues to perform in various performing platforms for non-profit concerts as a chamber musician and accompanist. He is a member of Amateur Chamber Music Society and performed in Sunday Kirribilli Concert ; the pianist for Waverley Randwick Philharmonic Society (2004); the repetiteur of Opera Prometheus (2010); a co-founder of Birubi Concert, a not for profit organisation dedicated to the performance of vocal and instrumental music by Australian
