"Love" is a song by Romanian dance/pop vocalist Inna extracted from her debut studio album entitled Hot (2009). It was written and produced by native dance music trio Play & Win and acts as the second single release from her album. "Love" was released and promoted in various European countries by Roton and Ultra Records. The "Play & Win Radio Edit" acted as the official version of the song in several countries.

While "Love" contains elements of eurodance, its lyrics evoke a meaning of how complicated situations of love can become. The single has garnered success for Inna in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Romania where it became her second consecutive top-twenty hit. "Love" was released as Inna's third single in the Netherlands after rumours that "10 Minutes", her fifth single overall, would be released first.
Music video
The music video for "Love" leaked onto the internet in early April 2009 and was later released onto the YouTube channel of Roton Records on May 7, 2009. It was directed on April 21, 2009 by Bogdan "Bobo" Bărbulescu in Bucharest, Romania during a period of 14 hours. The music video presents Inna in a gym. While some of the video's scenes are played in slow motion, its message is a battle between the Good and the Evil. The video starts with a confluence of two flowing water fluxes, one being white and the other black. A ballerina pirouetting through the air is then pictured as a representative for the Good. In the next scene of the video Inna appears wearing white shorts with a black belt and a long white veil. Following this, a skilled boxer is shown. He is sweating while beating a punching bag. Later in the video, black-dressed people appear as representatives for the Evil. While Inna sings in the front of an old wall, they are succeeding each other. In the end of the video Inna is running away among the other people previously presented. She seems unhappy because of their violence.
Accolades
"Love" was nominated for a Balkan Music award in the category "Best Song in the Balkans from Romania for 2009" late 2009, but failed to achieve it. Furthermore, the song also won two nominations during the Romanian Top Hits Awards ceremony in the categories "Top 1 Romania" and "Girls- The Best Hit". Subsequently, the jury awarded her with a special accolade for the success her song had in her native country. Inna also received three nods for herself at the 2009 MTV Romania Music Awards in the categories "Best New Act", "Best Show" and "Best Borderbreaker".

Release process
The song was made avabile to digital download only in selected territories. "Love" premiered as a digital EP to several retrailers. The single was released first to Romania and Spain on January 1, 2009 and was sent to Romanian mainstream radio stations on March 12, 2009. Love- EP premiered during late 2009 and early 2010 to Italian and American digital stores. While "Love" was launched as a single in Japan through Roton on July 4, 2012, a promotional CDr was made avabile in the UK. Furthermore, "Love" was promoted through CD-releases in the Netherlands and Italy.
Performance
"Love" debuted at number thirty-seven on the Spanish Singles Chart on November 8, 2009, gaining the highest debut of that week. It went on to peak at number thirty-one on November 22, 2009 and exited the chart on December 20, 2009 after spending a total of six weeks on it. The song became Inna's second consecutive top forty hit on this chart following her previous single called "Hot" which became a number-one hit in July 2009. "Love" has also been a great success on various airplay charts across Europe, with it reaching the top twenty in Hungary and the Czech Republic and outperforming "Hot" in Romania and Poland chartswise where it peaked within the top five and top twenty respectively. The single subsequently spent twelve weeks on the Bulgaria Singles Top 40. It debuted there at number-nineteen in the week of 25/2009 and moved forward to the top fifteen the next two weeks. "Love" reached its peak position at number-eight in the week of 28/2009, where it stationed for three non-consecutive weeks. Following this, the song dropped down to the top-twenty and left the chart in the week of 37/2009.
