Loop Rock is a style of indie rock and math rock that often employs guitar based composition and a wide variety of pedals, including loop pedals. The genre stems mostly from the rhythmically-complex guitar compositions of math rock and the sound of many indie rock bands. The genre was made famous and brought to the scene by Comedian Reggie Watts and Indiana-born, Los Angeles based musician Mylets.
