Lodu Sikaka

Lodu Sikaka is a Kondha tribal chief in Odisha state, India. Sikaka is a leading figure of the Kondhas against the building of a large bauxite mine in the Kondha tribal areas by the mining company Vedanta Resources. In August 2010, he was abducted by several unknown individuals whom Sikaka and his relative Sena identified as policemen. Sikaka was released after he signed a statement the contents of which are unclear.
