No.11 Brunswick, 11th February 1937

Following the death of Alderman Patrick Jeremiah Kelly on 1 December 1936, Councillor Lawrence King was elected as an alderman on 6 January 1937, causing a vacancy in the Brunswick ward.

No.15 Sefton Park East, 17th March 1937

Caused by Councillor Michael Cory Dixon being elected as an alderman.

No. 14 Granby, Thursday 17th June 1937

Councillor William Adam Edwards died on 28 April 1937.

No. 40 Croxteth, Thursday 17th June 1937

Caused by the resignation of Councillor Mrs. Mary Lilian Hamilton.

No. 19 Kensington, Thursday 22 July 1937

Councillor Edward Clouston Ralph Litler-Jones died on 28 June 1937.

Alderman Henry Walker on 7 September 1937. His place was taken by Councillor John Wolfe Tone Morrissey who was elected by the councillors as an alderman on 6 October 1937.

Councillor Henry Gaskin died on 13 September 1937.
