No. 1 Sandhills, 29th November 1934

Caused by the death of Councillor James William Joseph Baker (Labour, elected for the Sandhills ward on 1st November 1932)

No. 5 Exchange, 28th February 1935

Caused by the death of Councillor Miss Alice McCormick (Centre, elected 1st November 1932) on 20th December 1934.

No. 29 Anfield, 26th March 1935

Following the death of Alderman Wilfred Bowring Stoddart on 8th January 1935, Councillor Alfred Gates (Liberal, elected for Anfield on 1 November 1932) was elected as an alderman on 6th February 1935.

Following the death of Alderman John Clancy on 23rd January 1935, Councillor James Bennett O.B.E. (Conservative ) was elected as an alderman on 6th March 1935.
