In India, Cartoon Network is available in four languages: English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The channel carries a number of popular animated shows mainly from the WB vault and the Cartoon Network Studios. Since the TV channel Boomerang is not available on most Indian cable and satellite television providers, classic Hanna-Barbera shows like The Flintstones, Top Cat, The Centurions, SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron and The Yogi Bear Show are extremely hard to get in India.
Cartoon Network never aired the English version of some shows in India, such as Chowder, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and My Gym Partner's a Monkey. Even on the English feed of the channel, these shows were broadcast in Hindi. There was no official reason provided by the channel for this move.
Turner India on 26 February 2015 launched a brand new channel based on its former block, Toonami (India). It features shows including Batman, Superman, Justice League, Transformers, Dragonball Z.
