The Goldbergs is an American television sitcom broadcast on ABC created by Adam F. Goldberg. The Goldbergs is set in the 1980s and follows the Goldberg family. The series stars Jeff Garlin as husband Murray, Wendi McLendon-Covey as wife Beverly, and their three children. Adam, the youngest, documents their lives with his video camera. The series is based on creator Adam F. Goldberg's childhood in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, during which he actually videotaped events, many of which are re-enacted throughout the program. On May 8, 2014, ABC renewed for a second season, and with a new timeslot of Wednesday nights at 8:30/7:30c. On May 7, 2015, ABC renewed the series for a third season. On March 3, 2016, ABC renewed the series for a fourth season.
