List of Sierra Nevada road passes

This table shows the principal paved road passes on or near the crest of the Sierra Nevada, California, United States. The road passes are listed numbered from north to south, with their elevation and access road.

Portions of most roads passing through elevations of about 7,000 feet (2,100 m) are usually closed during winter, with opening and closure dates varying based on snowfall and available road clearing and repair resources. However, the California Department of Transportation attempts to keep I-80, US 50 and SR 88 open year-round.
