List of A Certain Magical Index chapters

The manga series A Certain Magical Index is written by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Chuya Kogino. The manga is an adaptation of Kamachi's A Certain Magical Index light novel series published by ASCII Media Works. The first chapter of the manga was published in the May 2007 issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shōnen Gangan shōnen manga magazine, and the succeeding chapters are serialized monthly. The first tankōbon volume was released by Square Enix under their Gangan Comics imprint on November 10, 2007; as of May 21, 2016, 17 volumes have been released in Japan. Yen Press has licensed the series in North America. Index was adapted as a 24-episode anime television series by J.C.Staff, which aired between October 2008 and March 2009. A second season titled A Certain Magical Index II, also produced by J.C.Staff, aired between October 2010 and April 2011.
